New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Counselor / Therapist or Social Worker (MHC-LP or LMSW).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and psychotherapy to patients primarily through telehealth
• Conduct intake evaluations and develop patient-centered treatment plans
• Participate in supervision groups, training, and departmental meetings

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State License (LMSW/MHC-LP) or license-eligible
• Master's degree in Social Work or related mental health field
• At least one year of experience practicing Psychotherapy (practicum experience included)
• Experience with various psychotherapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) preferred
• Proficient in using technology platforms and systems
