New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Job Summary
To provide outpatient services through a telehealth program, the full-time New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D) will manage a caseload of clients, work remotely, and collaborate with a diverse patient population while enjoying a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
- Utilize telehealth technology to deliver therapy sessions and maintain client engagement
- Work collaboratively with clients to achieve their mental health goals
Required qualifications
- Master's level degree in a relevant field and current licensure as a New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D)
- Diagnostic privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D) are required for application
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis and treatment planning
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is preferred
