New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

To provide outpatient services through a telehealth program, the full-time New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor will manage a caseload of clients, utilizing technology to deliver compassionate care remotely while working a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible shift options.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
• Utilize telehealth software for patient interactions and internal communications
• Collaborate with clients to achieve their mental health goals effectively

Required qualifications

• Master's level degree in a relevant field and current licensure as LMHC-D or LMFT-D
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis and treatment planning
• Ability to maintain a private work-from-home space compliant with HIPAA standards
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is preferred
