New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

To provide outpatient services through a telehealth program, the full-time New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work remotely, managing patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and utilizing technology effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient mental health services to a diverse patient population via telehealth
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients to achieve their goals
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain a private workspace for patient confidentiality

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and active New York LMHC-D or LMFT-D licensure
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis and treatment planning
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is preferred
• Comfort with telehealth technology and virtual communication tools
