New York Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary

Delivering remote, evidence-based therapy to adult clients, the part-time New York Licensed Mental Health Therapist will manage a caseload of 7-20 sessions per week, utilizing various therapeutic modalities while collaborating with other providers and completing documentation in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT
• Maintain a client caseload and ensure all documentation is completed within 48 hours of client contact
• Utilize data to assess client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary

Required qualifications

• Independently licensed in New York as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
• 2+ years of clinical experience with adult clients (18+)
• 6+ months of teletherapy experience
• Proficiency with clinical assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) and comfort with EHR systems
• Willingness to become licensed in other states, with costs covered by the employer
