New York Licensed Mortgage Closer

Job Summary

To support mortgage closing operations, the temporary full-time New York Licensed Mortgage Closer will manage the submission of loans for Closing Disclosure issuance, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with various parties to meet closing deadlines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pipeline reporting and ensure effective communication with all parties involved in the closing process
• Review loan files for compliance with State and Federal guidelines and obtain necessary documentation for closing
• Proactively follow up on rate lock expirations and ensure timely preparation of Closing Disclosures

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of closing and customer service experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience producing an initial and final Closing Disclosure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential mortgage closer
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
