New York Licensed Nurse Informaticist

Job Summary

Supporting the strategic and operational goals in Health Informatics, the full-time New York Licensed Nurse Informaticist will manage nursing informatics initiatives, collaborate with clinical teams, and optimize workflows and electronic medical records both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between end users and Health Informatics/IT teams, ensuring effective communication and workflow optimization
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, implementing standards in the EMR to enhance patient safety and usability
• Collaborate with training and support teams to design effective training content and disseminate information regarding system workflows

Required qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license in New York State or registry eligible
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Experience in clinical data and electronic medical records
• Understanding of nursing workflows and clinical operations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and IT teams
