Job Summary
To deliver medication for opioid use disorder in a fully remote outpatient setting, a New York Licensed Nurse Practitioner will independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment in this full-time position.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient care by prescribing buprenorphine-based medications and initiating treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based addiction medicine care
- Empower patients through a harm reduction approach, focusing on their recovery goals and autonomy
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York
- At least 6 months of experience in an independent outpatient setting prescribing buprenorphine
- Ability to work autonomously in a patient-centered practice
- Private workspace with a HIPAA-compliant setup
- Interest in full-time work, 30-40 hours per week with flexible shift options
