Job Summary
Assisting in daily pharmacy operations, the full-time New York Licensed Oncology Technician will provide phone support to healthcare providers and patients, ensuring the resolution of pharmacy-related inquiries and coordination of medication deliveries, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Practice first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with pharmacy needs
- Communicate with patients and physician office staff to resolve issues and triage calls as needed
- Perform pharmacy-related activities in compliance with state and federal laws and maintain a safe pharmacy environment
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, and licensed/registered as an Oncology Technician as required by state law
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, including sig codes and brand/generic medication names
- Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
- Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills
