New York Licensed Optometrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a licensed Doctor of Optometry for remote work with Saturday coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients in the state(s) where licensed using remote technology
• Communicate with patients through specialized video conference technology
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with Ophthalmic Technician support

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current New York state license as a Doctor of Optometry
• Experience with tele-optometry or remote patient care preferred
• Ability to work as an Independent Contractor
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Willingness to undergo any necessary credentialing and training
