New York Licensed Optometrist

Job Summary

Offering a flexible remote opportunity, the New York Licensed Optometrist will examine patients using patented tele-optometry technology and provide eye care services on Saturdays as an Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients through specialized remote technology while adhering to state licensing requirements
• Communicate with patients using video conferencing tools to assess eye health and provide consultations
• Collaborate with Ophthalmic Technicians to analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyewear

Required qualifications

• Current New York state license to practice as a Doctor of Optometry
• Experience with telemedicine or remote patient care is preferred
• Ability to work independently as an Independent Contractor
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Willingness to undergo any necessary credentialing and training provided by the company
