New York Licensed Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a growing team of independent reviewers, the fully remote New York Licensed Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Reviewer will conduct comprehensive medical record reviews, prepare clinical summaries, and engage in peer-to-peer communications regarding spinal conditions in the context of workers' compensation cases.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and prepare clear clinical summaries for workers' compensation cases
• Engage in peer-to-peer communications to address client-specific questions related to spinal conditions
• Provide objective, evidence-based clinical opinions on surgical and non-surgical management, causation, impairment, and disability

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• New York Workers' Compensation Board Certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Current, unrestricted New York medical license
