New York Licensed Per Diem Physician

Job Summary

To expand access to care for underserved populations, a New York Licensed Per Diem Physician will provide remote clinical care and consultation focused on HIV, Hepatitis C, tuberculosis, and other infectious diseases while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive telemedicine evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with infectious disease-related conditions
• Utilize telehealth technology to conduct patient visits in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and support innovative treatment initiatives

Required qualifications

• Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)
• Active/Valid license as a MD or DO in New York State, DEA, Board certification
• Experience in HIV care and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations in community health settings
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
