Job Summary
Supporting the health system-wide implementation of smart infusion pump integration with Epic CPOE, the full-time New York Licensed Pharmacy Analyst will manage validation processes, ensure alignment between smart pump drug libraries and Epic workflows, and collaborate with pharmacy informatics to maintain safe medication administration practices remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the validation of smart pump drug libraries against Epic medication order screens to ensure accuracy and safety
- Conduct testing and validation scenarios prior to go-live to confirm safe medication administration workflows
- Collaborate with pharmacy informatics to identify and resolve discrepancies between the pump library and Epic configuration
Required qualifications
- PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree
- Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required
- Active pharmacist license with NY registration required within 3 months of hire
- Epic end-user experience with medication ordering or administration workflows
- Experience with medication safety, infusion therapy, or IV medication management
