New York Licensed Physical Security Lead

Job Summary

To support a growing Advanced Technology Group, the contracted Physical Security Technical Operations Lead will provide technical leadership on physical security projects, ensuring quality execution from site survey through implementation and remediation while working remotely during standard business hours with on-call support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority on physical security projects, overseeing design, implementation, and post-implementation activities
• Provide real-time technical guidance to engineers and field technicians during system installations and integrations, ensuring adherence to design specifications
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to manage project scheduling, equipment logistics, and technical dependencies across multiple sites

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project-based physical security work, including design and implementation of enterprise security systems
• Required certifications such as PSP, CPP, or NICET in Physical Security or equivalent
• Deep knowledge of physical security technologies including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems
• Experience leading site surveys and producing design documentation for physical security deployments
• Proficiency in managing technical oversight and providing guidance during complex or time-sensitive implementations
