Job Summary
To support K-12 schools in New York, the fully remote New York Licensed Physical Therapist will evaluate students' gross motor function and develop treatment plans while working as a 1099 Independent Contractor during the school year.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate levels of gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills of students
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans addressing specific student needs
- Document sessions and track progress towards IEP goals while collaborating with school personnel
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Active New York State PT license
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Experience with reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platforms and a strong tech setup
- Authorization to work in the United States
