New York Licensed Physician Assistant

Job Summary

To support Addiction Recovery Services, the full-time New York Licensed Physician Assistant will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide medical and addiction treatment, working both onsite in Clifton Springs and remotely with a 50/50 split.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and interpret detailed patient histories and physical data to inform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Support patients throughout their recovery journey by fostering a compassionate and trauma-informed environment
• Prescribe medication and write orders as necessary to stabilize patients during intake

Required qualifications

• BS in Physician Assistant required
• Registered Physician Assistant (RPA) certification from New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred in chemical dependency, primary care, or hospital medicine
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
