New York Licensed Physician Assistant

Job Summary

To deliver high-quality healthcare services in a virtual urgent care setting, the full-time New York Licensed Physician Assistant will conduct virtual consultations, diagnose and treat acute medical conditions, and provide patient education while adhering to clinical protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose acute illnesses and minor injuries, implementing treatment plans and monitoring patient responses
• Prescribe medications and provide health education, recommending community resources and referrals as necessary
• Perform administrative tasks, including updating patient charts, managing billing codes, and conducting clinical follow-ups

Required qualifications

• BS in Physician Assistant studies (Required)
• PA-C certification from the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Registered Physician Assistant (RPA) certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
• At least 3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or related fields
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
