New York Licensed Physician President

Job Summary

To support the expansion of its clinical delivery infrastructure, a part-time New York Licensed Physician President will serve as the sole or majority shareholder of affiliated medical groups, providing clinical governance and oversight for NP-led care models in skilled nursing and home health settings while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Approve clinical protocols, quality standards, and scope-of-practice policies for NP-delivered care
• Oversee credentialing, peer review, and clinical quality committees
• Maintain Medicare enrollment and manage collaborative practice agreements with nurse practitioners

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and willingness to obtain licensure in additional states
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
• Current Medicare enrollment with no revocations or payment suspensions
• Experience supervising NPs or serving as Medical Director in post-acute or telehealth settings
