New York Licensed Policy Associate

Job Summary

Providing customer service to individual clients, the full-time New York Licensed Policy Associate will process policy transactions, manage beneficiary changes, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while primarily working remotely with occasional office visits in Binghamton, NY or Houston, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Process policy surrenders, cancellations, and beneficiary changes while verifying cost basis and gain calculations
• Provide internal and external customer service, including responding to inquiries and completing service requests from various departments
• Review daily and monthly policy reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with state requirements

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in business or a related field required
• 2-4 years of experience in Customer Care/Support
• 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry or accounting environment preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Industry-recognized certifications preferred
