New York Licensed Primary Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time New York Licensed Primary Therapist will provide individual and family therapy, conduct group therapy sessions, and collaborate with other departments to create and update treatment plans for clients with eating disorders, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish positive rapport with clients and diagnose mental health disorders
• Create and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress
• Conduct group therapy sessions and involve family members when appropriate

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with full licensure
• Experience treating clients with eating disorders
• Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states as required
• Understanding of various treatment models and co-occurring conditions
• Must not be opted out of Medicare
