New York Licensed Principal Architect

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional teams, the full-time New York Licensed Principal Architect will design, plan, implement, and govern cloud strategies for public sector customers, focusing on building trusted advisory relationships and promoting Google Cloud solutions in a remote-eligible role.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted advisory relationships with key stakeholders in State of New York agencies to identify priorities and design strategies
• Provide domain expertise and promote Google Cloud solutions at conferences and online to public sector customers
• Make recommendations on integration strategies and enterprise architectures to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness for clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in a customer-facing role
• Experience with state, local, and higher education markets in New York
• Expertise in cloud market insights and cloud computing across various domains
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders
