New York Licensed Product Counsel
Job Summary
As a key strategic partner, the full-time Senior Counsel, Product will collaborate with R&D teams to provide regulatory guidance on AI, data usage, and healthcare laws, ensuring innovative technology products are developed in compliance with legal standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as an embedded regulatory thought partner to Engineering, Product, and Operations teams, providing real-time guidance on technology use in healthcare delivery
- Translate complex healthcare laws and regulations into practical tools for Engineering, Product, and Operations teams
- Anticipate regulatory challenges and develop proactive solutions to align business objectives while mitigating risk
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of post-bar legal experience with significant expertise in healthcare regulation and product counseling
- Deep understanding of multi-state healthcare regulations and evolving regulatory environments
- Experience advising Engineering, Product, or Operations teams in a healthcare technology context
- Proven ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements for non-legal stakeholders
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing, with the ability to register as NY in-house counsel
