Job Summary
Proactively managing first party property claims, the full-time remote New York Licensed Property Claims Examiner will handle claims from initial notice through resolution, ensuring high-quality customer service and technical claim file management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and adjust first party property claims, securing all pertinent documentation related to losses
- Evaluate loss and policy information for proper coverage assessments and refer significant cases to the Claims Manager
- Conduct cause and origin investigations and inspect losses in the field as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience
- New York State General Adjuster's license
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to multitask and possess strong organizational skills
- Experience with claims management systems such as ImageRight and Origami is preferred
