Job Summary

A company is looking for a Property and Casualty Underwriter responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new and renewal business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrites new and renewal property and casualty business, evaluating applications and documentation according to underwriting standards
  • Assesses risks and determines appropriate coverage limits, premiums, and policy terms based on risk evaluation
  • Maintains broker relationships and manages production activities to provide timely and quality service to clients
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
  • Must meet minimum requirements for state Property and Casualty and/or surplus line licenses
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is a plus
