New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (New York Licensed PMHNP) for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans
• Conduct individual psychotherapy and prescribe psychotropic medications while monitoring their effects
• Document patient histories, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP) in New York and Illinois
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
• Ability to work with adults and across the lifespan (ages 13 and up)
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and experience with treatment planning and EHR documentation
