New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a part-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management of clients
• Prescribe or recommend medication and other therapeutic procedures
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess clients' clinical problems

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program
• Current license in New York State as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
• Current DEA certification to prescribe medication
• Registered as a NY State Medicaid provider with an individual NPI #
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
