New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct remote psychiatry assessments, prescribe medications, and integrate brief psychotherapy to enhance client outcomes while collaborating with a team of clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership for integrated care plans and support

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Licensed to practice in New York as a PMHNP
• Active DEA license in New York
• 2+ years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP
• Experience in delivering remote telepsychiatry services
