New York Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote contract Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for the Medicaid population while benefiting from administrative support in scheduling and billing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for clients
• Utilize a telehealth system to maintain flexibility in work hours and client load
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to enhance patient outcomes

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in New York
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Prescriptive authority and active DEA registration
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred
