Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychologist - Student Trainee Mental Health Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide initial intake assessment and time-limited psychological treatment, including individual and group psychotherapy for students and trainees
• Function as an integral part of a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers
• Contribute to psycho-education and outreach efforts to the student and trainee community

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program
• New York State Psychology license
• Expertise in providing CBT or other evidence-based therapies
• Training/experience working with a student population is desired
• Experience working with specialized populations, such as individuals with substance use-related problems or trauma history
