Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time New York Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in LGBTQ+ issues will provide psychotherapy services to a caseload of individuals, couples, and families, while working remotely and engaging in clinical supervision and community workshops.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy services to a minimum caseload of 25 completed sessions per week
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation while participating in individual and group supervision
- Assist in the creation and implementation of workshops and training opportunities as they arise
Required qualifications:
- Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York
- At least 1 year of experience in providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals
- Experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing individual, couples, and family therapy
- Demonstrated success in implementing modalities such as CBT, trauma-informed practices, and psychodynamic psychotherapy
- Commit to a minimum of 3 years with the practice
