Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in LGBTQ+ issues, the full-time position will provide psychotherapy services to a diverse caseload, including individuals, couples, and families, while working remotely and committing to a minimum of 25 completed sessions per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy services to a minimum caseload of 28-30 clients, including individuals and couples
- Maintain case notes and required documentation, ensuring compliance with practice policies
- Participate in individual and group clinical supervision, and assist in creating workshops and training as needed
Required qualifications:
- Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York
- At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals
- Demonstrated success in implementing therapeutic modalities such as CBT, IFS, and trauma-informed practices
- Commit to a minimum of 3 years with the practice
- Experience in providing therapy for sexual-related issues, including sexual anxiety and functioning
