Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Psychotherapist, the full-time position will provide psychotherapy services to a diverse caseload, focusing on LGBTQ+ issues, with opportunities for remote work and minimal administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy services to a minimum caseload of 25 clients per week, including individuals, couples, and families
- Maintain case notes and documentation while participating in individual and group supervision sessions
- Assist in the creation and implementation of workshops and training opportunities as they arise
Required qualifications
- Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York
- At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals
- Demonstrated success in implementing various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, IFS, and trauma-informed practices
- Commit to a minimum of 3 years with the practice
- Experience in providing therapy for sexual-related issues, including sexual anxiety and functioning
