Job Summary
Seeking a New York Licensed Psychotherapist, the full-time position will provide psychotherapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 clients weekly, focusing on gender, sexuality, and relationship issues, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse clientele, including those with LGBTQ+ and sexual-related issues
- Maintain case notes and documentation, participating in regular individual and group supervision
- Assist in the development and implementation of workshops and training sessions as needed
Required qualifications
- Possess an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, MHC, or LMHC and be licensed in New York
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in psychotherapy, specifically with LGBTQ+, kinky, and non-monogamous individuals
- Demonstrated success in using modalities such as CBT, IFS, and trauma-informed practices
- Commit to a minimum of 3 years with the practice
- High level of competence in gender, sex, and sexuality issues
