Job Summary
Providing legal support for a sophisticated commercial real estate and lending environment, the remote Commercial Real Estate Contracts Attorney will review, draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts, while analyzing lender-related transactions and identifying legal risks over a 3-4 month engagement, with potential for extension or conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to the Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate business teams
- Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts and related legal matters
- Analyze lender mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and related corporate transactions to identify and mitigate legal risks
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active U.S. bar license in good standing
- Significant experience practicing law in commercial real estate, transactional, or financial services environments
- Strong experience reviewing, negotiating, interpreting, and enforcing commercial agreements
- Demonstrated experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, or organizational restructuring matters
