Job Summary

To support individuals with mental illness, the part-time PRN New York Licensed Registered Nurse will conduct clinical assessments in various settings, including nursing homes and hospitals, while working in a hybrid environment across Queens, New York, with approximately 5-20 hours of work per month.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care for individuals with psychiatric disorders
• Utilize electronic systems for documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and support networks
• Analyze psychological, emotional, and behavioral functioning to develop care recommendations based on clinical evaluations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience assessing individuals with mental and psychiatric disorders
• Must possess an unrestricted active Registered Nurse license from New York
• Bona fide resident of the State of New York
• Valid and current driving license in good standing in New York State
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
