New York Licensed Risk Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, a New York Licensed Risk Manager will perform independent risk assessments for high-net-worth residential properties, evaluating complex exposures and recommending loss prevention strategies to support underwriting and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive risk assessments by evaluating property conditions across various regions and construction types
• Analyze findings to assess loss probability and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation
• Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly, serving as a trusted representative of the brand

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Risk Manager or in a related insurance role focused on property risk assessment
• Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in high-value home construction or related skilled trades
• Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment and discretion in complex situations
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; relevant field experience is highly valued
