New York Licensed RN Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary

To oversee and support after-hours care delivery for hospice patients, the per diem New York Licensed RN Clinical Supervisor will manage field staff supervision, respond to patient needs, and ensure continuity of care while working remotely within the Tri-State area.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate after-hours care delivery activities, ensuring timely responses to patient and caregiver needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and outside vendors to determine appropriate treatment methods based on patient needs
• Document and evaluate patient care situations, providing clinical direction and support to on-call nurses and families

Required qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in Acute Care, Clinical Crisis Management, Hospice, or Palliative Care
• Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and knowledge of healthcare management preferred
