New York Licensed Sales Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Sales Representative - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist top producers with clerical and administrative tasks, including preparing quotes and processing applications
• Place outbound calls to prospects, analyze current insurance coverage, and suggest potential upgrades or changes
• Track quote activity, generate reports, and ensure adherence to insurance company guidelines and retention targets

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective phone communication abilities
• Self-directed with good decision-making and time management skills
• Proficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance administration software is preferred
• NYS Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license, or ability to become licensed within 60 days
