Job Summary

Evaluating responses to test questions, the part-time New York Licensed Scoring Associate will assess teacher candidates' answers remotely, ensuring adherence to scoring standards and participating in consensus scoring activities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by New York teacher candidates
• Internalize scoring standards and engage in discussions with other scorers
• Recognize and address various types of bias in scoring practices

Required qualifications

• Current teaching certification in the relevant subject area and recent teaching experience
• Alternatively, a degree in the content area with relevant professional employment within the last three years
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Eligible to work in the United States
