Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst specializing in New York Property and Casualty, working remotely in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reserve reviews and pricing analyses, focusing primarily on reserving engagements
  • Develop and implement predictive models for various applications and evaluate clients' methodologies for enhancements
  • Analyze data using programming languages such as R and SQL, and present findings to clients and peers
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • Must have passed at least five actuarial exams, including P, FM, MAS-I, MAS-II, and Exam 5
  • 5 to 10 years of professional actuarial experience with significant reserving and predictive modeling experience
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and advanced actuarial methodologies, including generalized linear models and Bayesian approaches
  • Proficient in programming languages such as R, SAS, or SQL for data management and automation
