Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time New York Licensed Senior Associate Attorney will manage a case load of contested foreclosures, defensive litigation, and ancillary matters on behalf of mortgage servicers and investors, with flexible work-from-home options available.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and handle case load of contested foreclosures and defensive litigation
- Appear in state and federal court for hearings, trials, and appeals
- Draft legal documents and develop case strategies based on incoming litigation
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree and bar license in good standing in New York
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant litigation experience preferred
- Substantial knowledge and experience with New York Mortgage Foreclosure Law
- Bar licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and/or Connecticut are a plus
