New York Licensed Senior Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely as a New York Licensed Senior Claims Specialist, the full-time position will independently conduct detailed analysis of claims, negotiate settlements, and interact with various parties involved in the claims process while mentoring lower-level adjusters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to investigate claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies
• Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters, negotiating and resolving settlements
• Document and communicate claim activity efficiently to support outcomes and client satisfaction

Required qualifications

• High school diploma
• 7 or more years of related claims experience at a senior adjuster level
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with related claims and business software
