New York Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, StreetEasy & New Construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as legal point of contact and subject matter expert for StreetEasy and New Construction business lines, supporting product development lifecycle
• Provide tactical legal counsel for special projects and key initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, while analyzing legislative changes impacting assigned products

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in a national or regional law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in a tech company
• Juris Doctor (JD) with active state bar admission
• Experience with licensing, marketing, intellectual property, and commercial agreements
• Familiarity with real estate regulatory frameworks and the New York real estate market preferred
• Aptitude for innovative problem-solving and a project-manager approach to ownership of projects
