New York Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing technology company, the full-time remote New York Licensed Senior Counsel will manage commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property, and product counseling while collaborating closely with various business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and support FinTech initiatives
• Advise on employment matters and assist in building compliant frameworks for a global workforce
• Provide legal counsel on intellectual property and product development, ensuring compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in New York or another US jurisdiction
• 5-10 years of legal experience, preferably with time at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a technology company
• Interest in negotiating complex agreements and a genuine curiosity across multiple practice areas
• Experience advising on employment matters in multiple jurisdictions is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-lawyers
