Job Summary
As a key strategic partner, the full-time remote New York Licensed Senior Counsel will support innovation within the R&D teams, focusing on AI, data usage, and healthcare regulations while serving as the primary product attorney for Headway's Product and Engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as an embedded regulatory thought partner, providing real-time guidance on technology use in healthcare delivery
- Translate complex healthcare laws and regulations into practical tools for Engineering, Product, and Operations teams
- Anticipate regulatory challenges and develop proactive solutions to enable business objectives while mitigating risk
Required qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of post-bar legal experience with significant healthcare regulatory expertise
- Deep understanding of multi-state healthcare regulations in evolving environments
- Experience advising Engineering, Product, and/or Operations teams in a healthcare technology setting
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable guidance
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
