New York Licensed Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Driving high-velocity commercial deal cycles, the full-time remote New York Licensed Senior Legal Counsel will negotiate complex B2B SaaS agreements and provide strategic risk advisory to support revenue growth in the North America market.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts, focusing on B2B SaaS agreements and enterprise MSAs under New York law
• Provide pragmatic legal guidance on complex contract terms, balancing business objectives with risk mitigation and compliance
• Own and optimize the contract lifecycle management process, enhancing operational efficiency through automation and legal tech integration

Required qualifications

• Legal degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• 5 to 7+ years of experience as a commercial or corporate attorney, particularly with technology and software contracts
• Solid experience negotiating SaaS and software-related agreements, with knowledge of standard commercial terms
• Familiarity with major data protection and privacy frameworks, such as GDPR and CCPA
• Experience working in-house at a technology, fintech, or regtech company is a plus
