New York Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Attorney Insurance Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex and high exposure litigation
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs with minimal supervision
• Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New York State
• Minimum of 10 years of insurance defense legal experience
• Documented first chair jury trial/appellate expertise
• Member in good standing of NY Bar Association
• Knowledge of area courts
