New York Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time New York Licensed Senior Staff Attorney will manage complex litigation, conduct legal research, and prepare defense strategies while working remotely in a temporary position.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex and high-exposure litigation, developing and presenting defense strategies
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs with minimal supervision
• Provide timely legal advice and communication to clients and claims partners on various legal issues

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New York State
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in personal injury defense litigation
• Experience conducting and defending depositions in Auto and premises liability cases
• Strong legal research and writing skills
