Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Trial Attorney specializing in Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent insured individuals and the company in Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist arbitrations and litigation, as well as Bodily Injury (BI) matters
• Handle time-sensitive petitions and responsive pleadings, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines
• Prepare for and conduct arbitrations, hearings, mediations, and depositions while managing a caseload of related cases

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in New York
• Significant experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense
• Strong research and writing skills related to legal advocacy
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaborate with claims professionals
